A George II Period Carbed Walnut Side Table with Breccia Marble Top
English, circa 1735
The rectangular top of Breccia Rosata with moulded edge over a carved frieze of leaves and panel veneered with well figured walnut and herringbone banding centred by a cartouche of Fleur de lys scrolls and acanthus, the four legs similarly carved with scrolled ears, acanthus foliage to the knees, terminating in carved ogee feet.
