and date from the middle of the twentieth century generally fromt the early 50s through to the late 60s. Many of the artists represented belonged to, or were affiliated with, the St Ives group - a centre of enormous creative energy whose
radical re-thinking of the traditional approach to painting produced some of the most exciting and groundbreaking abstract art known.
