A fine Regency period simulated rosewood gilt bronze mounted sofa of impressive proportions.The upholstered shaped back with three loose cushions, the scrolled arms with bolster cushions flanking the three seast cushions. The frieze supported by four sabre legs terminating in gilt brass castors.The whole frame with applied gilt bronze paterae and mounts of laurel, anthemion and lotus.
